I bought my 18" rebar stakes based on a prior YSBW customer review where he said the magic words "Burning Man". All I saw right then were 40mph gusts on a gritty plain, and things flying away. I staked out my 10x20' canopy w/ 7mil rope in a gusty ranch setting. The wind came up, the line stretched a bit, canopy "walked" about 6"—but it didn't blow away.
